to the Fat Robin Orchard & Farm. We hope this site brings a little bit of our Montana to you.
Our family-run orchard has existed in one form or another since the 1930s, and has been certified organic since 2000. Our specialty is sweet cherry varietals, including the ever popular Lambert cherry, Rainier, Lapin, Black Republican, and Van. We also have a limited number of pie cherries (Montmorency) and some newer varieties, Balaton, Kooteney, and Sweetheart.
We grow Macintosh and a few heirloom Wealthy apples, planted by the original owners' sister, Elsie, back in the '30s.
Some years we also offer varietal garlic and shallots.
Part of our farm management scheme includes grazing sheep where and when appropriate. We enjoy the company of our permanent flock of ten, and their lambs in season. We offer sheep and their wool for sale when available.
We invite you to visit the farm to enjoy our fruit, admire the views, and pet the sheep. Or check out our products and bring a little of the farm home to you.
