Here at Fat Robin we are proud to offer you the first of many wool products from our orchard flock. We are starting out small with some lovely yarn, and hope to expand to rovings, batts, and knitted items soon.

If you are interested in purchasing our yarns, or have questions or suggestions, please email us at info@fatrobinorchard.com. Samples available upon request.

StudMuffin's Lamb Fleece

StudMuffin is the current ram at Fat Robin and the sire of all our lambs for the past five years. He is a handsome melange of Romney, CVM, Spotted Corriedale, and Romeldale with a big head and a ton of wool.

This beautiful grey yarn, with just the barest hint of brown, was spun from his first shearing, his lamb fleece.

The skeins are 200 yds of three-ply sport weight yarn.

The price per skein is $16.

ShortCake's Lamb Fleece

ShortCake is our mystery ewe here at Fat Robin. She is a rather nondescript girl (please don't tell her we said that) who produces the most beautiful and unusual looking lambs, hinting at her CVM genetics.

Her medium length lamb wool from her first shearing spun into a lovely creamy soft yarn.

The skeins are 200 yds of three-ply sport weight yarn.

The price per skein is $16.

Fat Robin Basic

Back when we first started running sheep in the orchards, we borrowed a neighbor's flock. At shearing time, we gathered the nicest fleeces from the bunch and had them spun into an all-around, basic two-ply worsted weight yarn.

It knits up very nicely, takes dye well, and felts evenly.

The skeins are 200 yds.

The price per skein is $8.
